Woodworm unlike what many people belive is not the name of a species rather it is just a generic description given to any wooden item that has suffered from wood boring beetles. Woodworm in your house will normally consist of holes in the wooden item around 1mm - 1.5mm in diameter. The adults will normally lay eggs just under the wooden surface, The resulting larva will eat away at the wood causing further cosmetic and structural damage.
The solution to your woodworm problem will consist of a chemical pesticide to remove the beetles and the larva. We also suggest looking into and solving any possible damp issues that may reside in the house,
